Ethical Bank - I love this idea because of it's simplicity. Treat customers right, don't screw them over, make a profit, don't be assholes. Don't become too big to fail. If you do fail, go away forever. Take down Bank of America. (Hey, in my opinion that's ethical.)
Actual News - This one's pretty simple too. Tell Americans the things we need to hear in order to be well informed to make decisions that enhance our experience as Americans. I am so f@*%ing tired of Jon and Kate, Michael Jackson, Michael Vick, Patrick Swayze, Jennifer Aniston, Megan Fox, their hairstyles, their love lives, their divorces, their deaths, their egos, the stupid things they've said/done/whatever. I'm in personal information overload. How's this for a news flash..."THAT SH..STUFF IS NOT NEWS!!!!!!!" Somebody give me an oh yeah....
Would the real news stations please stand up? I have to go online to look for news and I'm not even getting much there. Yahoo, MSN, ABC, NBC, CNN, AP, and Reuters all report the same stories. What's THAT about? I'm going to start a news show that reports actual news, not just mind numbing dribble. I'm so tired of the newspeople glossing over the actual news to get to "the latest details" in the story that's been stuffed down my face for 2 months. I'll need a journalist to tell me the rules and what will get me thrown in prison. Any volunteers?
And while I'm on a TV rant anyway MTV should go back to showing videos and networks should go back to real programming and not just sucky reality shows. There I said it.

yes to helping BofA go out of business. I hate their website and it just gets worse with them after that.
As for getting decent news, as soon as News programs started being run for profit they had to start outdoing each other to attract more and more viewers so they could increase advertising rates and make more profit. Whatever gets the viewers in is considered news now, and unfortunately we've become a nation of celebophiles, because we're not happy with what we've got but have to peek in on other people's lives and compare.
But I can't agree with you on the MTV thing. There isn't any music worth being shown on it any more. . .
